8.11.5.1. How to update the map data

For map data update, the following equipments are necessary:
A USB hub with an external power for connecting the USB memory device to the vehicle
A USB memory device with a minimum of 8GB storage space
A personal computer with Internet access to download a new map data
For detailed specification and recommended products, please contact a NISSAN dealer.

Perform the following steps to update the map data:
(Visit website or consult a NISSAN dealer or qualified workshop for details.)
Confirm the map version* on the vehicle and check if a new version is available at the website. (When the map version on the vehicle and on the website is the same, map update is not necessary.)
If a new version is available, connect the USB hub to the vehicle. Then, save the map information to the USB memory.
Start the e-POWER system.
Download the map data from the website.
